I t's said that each and every company has an intriguing story behind its formation. Our company, Sidekick boxing is not far behind. Our company was formed in the year 2010 by Daniel Knight. Our company as well as its snippet would be certainly incomplete in the absence of telling its formation story. This company is an epitome of the hardships faced by our founder, which made him tough and dream to make it big. Starting out in 2010 as a UK kickboxing equipment company, Sidekick has grown rapidly over the space of a decade. Becoming trailblazer in the field of kickboxing equipment, we are now expanding to other disciplines such as Muay Thai, Boxing, MMA and even Jiu Jitsu.   Currently, we stock everything from: accessories, apparel, boxing gloves, kickboxing pads , kickboxing sets, protective gear, training equipment and more. This is a question I get quite a lot and a recent thread on a popular martial arts forum has compelled me to write a short article about it. I  want to take this opportunity to write a short article about how to take care of your leather boxing gloves , because if you do it in the right way then you will have a pair of gloves that will last you for years. Boxing gloves care is not rocket science and there are not really any hidden processes of taking care of them. Most of the time it's just down to good old common sense. A lot people ask how do I prevent the leather cracking on the gloves and reduce glove smell? The short answer is that you air the gloves out and wipe them down after each session.
